I grew up with debilitating allergies and asthma.

One of my earliest memories is sleeping over at our nanny’s house, where she had a cat. I spent the entire night chasing it around, squeezing it, and insisting it sleep next to me. By morning, my face was swollen and my eyes were nearly shut. A skin-prick test later confirmed what was already becoming obvious: I had severe allergies.

Asthma entered the picture through nights when breathing suddenly became difficult. Over the years, I went through the whole routine:

• twice-weekly allergy shots in both arms
• daily medications - Allegra and Zyrtec, Advair, Singulair
• A nebulizer
• A rescue inhaler
  

Modern medicine has been lifesaving for me, but living with these conditions was challenging, especially when the over-the-counter allergy products I relied on no longer seemed to work as well for me.

I tried everything, even acupuncture when my ex's dog was too much to handle. I have never wanted allergies to dictate how I live—or whom I love. That includes the sweetest, cutest cat I eventually adopted despite being allergic. For a long time, I simply accepted that loving Indra meant suffering through the symptoms.

Eventually, I decided to explore what else I could do.

As I researched ingredients traditionally used to support histamine balance, immune health, and upper respiratory wellness, I discovered options I felt genuinely excited about. But there was a problem: I would buy products like quercetin, place them on a shelf, and forget to take them.

Knowing something is good for you does not help much when using it feels like a chore.

I wanted to create something people would actually look forward to taking: something fun, delicious, and satisfying, with a taste that felt as rewarding as the support it was designed to provide.

So I went all in.

I partnered with food scientists, nutraceutical formulators, and flavor experts, and poured nearly all of my available time, energy, and life savings into bringing Airhug to life.

Because sometimes your body deserves a little extra support.
